August 6, 2010: Donna M. Butler is Good for What Broke You!

Get ready for fun!  Our featured guest is the extremely popular and highly original, Donna M. Butler, the co-founder of The Broke Wives Club who uses a wide variety of social media platforms to encourage her members and other fans all over the globe to go “from broke to stoked.”  She is the poster child for high aspirations in the impressive way she has stepped out to lead women in The Attitude Shift through her highly rated internet radio show with the same name. She is a self-taught expert in leadership by humor.

Donna is also the glamorous mother of seven and grandmother of five—a new media grandmother who can be seen on YouTube amusing viewers with fashion advice and inspiring them with empathy and her vision of sisterhood.  Donna makes her home with the husband she calls “Daddy-Man” in Zachary, Louisiana. Women Are Not Funny Radio is excited to have Donna make this show her home for the hour.

Kay believes that Donna’s optimism should not go unrewarded, so she asked fabulous indie musician, Christopher Sauter, of J.E.L.L.i for permission to play his awesome cover of “Over the Rainbow” for Donna on this show.

A fun conversation that matters!

I’m Donna’s biz partner and show co-host and I have to tell you how much she has changed my life this year. The ride we’ve taken this year has shifted my attitude greatly and I thank her and am grateful to the universe for blocking my path with her energy this time last year. Look out world.. we’ll shift yours!
    Great show!
    From broke to STOKED!

Siobban, the two of you are a wonder! I have seen your videos and, and love your spirit of fun. Of course, since your partner uploads 18 videos per day, it is unlikely that you will ever catch up with her when it comes to the numbers–or when it comes to the number of wigs. Thanks for coming by. We’d love it if you would drag those on your tow chain by Women Are Not Funny from time to time.

Thank you, Ivy. Donna was a fabulous and inspiring guest. And so generous! She has already made a hilarious response video to promote the new Women Are Not Funny channel on You Tube.
