February 26, 2010: Yikes! A Dramatic Change of Plans!

Announcement:  Divorce Month is hereby canceled!

The cancellation of Divorce Month is a vivid example of the incontrovertible fact that things change.  Life does not always follow your plan!  And who better to help us deal with the home version of Alternate Reality than Women Are Not Funny’s regular featured guest, master life coach Michele Woodward.  Michele is prepared to speak the harsh and less harsh truth about things that must be said, but only if Kay is able to shut up long enough to permit that to happen.

Here is what they will talk about:  1. A slugfest between two friends that led to an outrageously happy ending.  2. How to turn a life failure into a public failure–or better yet, an economic failure.  3. Kay’s moronic state of confusion regarding life coaching.  4. The nature of vision and how to know when, and if, your big vision is a tiny bit too big.

February 19, 2010: Divorce–View from the Marriage Side of Town

Martha Giffen is a Digital Age Southern Belle who is extremely charming.  She is charmingly funny, that’s for sure.  But she is also charmingly married!  Why is she a guest for divorce month?  Has Kay lost her mind?  Please do not answer that question!  No answer is necessary.  Instead tune in and listen in to Kay’s conversation with Martha about her highly original and top secret idea for a new internet community.  Also, in the spirit of trying to make Martha feel queasy, Kay will talk about her own divorce and her strongly held belief that it could happen to anybody.

February 5, 2010: Divorce–Healing a Broken Heart

The fabulous Susan Piver comes by to talk about her new book The Wisdom of a Broken Heart: An Uncommon Guide to Healing, Insight, and Love and how heartbreak is a rite of passage that can convince you of your personal power and capability to love.

Susan’s book is great and so is Susan. She leads an enormously interesting life. She is a prolific writer of best selling books and, in that capacity, a frequent guest on network television. As a guest of Women Are Not Funny she talks about Stevie Ray Vaughan effect, becoming a Tenderhearted Warrior, and whether it is possible to survive a divorce.
